Parish Council

The Parish Council of St. Anthony’s Catholic community is comprised of 12 members of the parish. Council members are elected by the parish at large each May to serve a three-year term and are limited to no more than two consecutive terms of service. The council elects three officers, a President, a Vice President, and a secretary each year.  The current officers are President: David Schaab, Vice-President: Karen Campbell, Secretary: Geri O’Neill.

The primary function of the Council is to serve as a conduit to the pastor to relay the concerns and needs of the parish as a whole and to serve in an advisory capacity as a sounding board for the pastor and assist him in the planning and implementation of programs and direction for the parish.

The parish council meets regularly on the second Wednesday evening of evennumbered months. All meetings are open to all parish members. The council also coordinates two annual meetings with our sister parish, Holy Family Parish of Peoria.

The goal of the council is to continue to honor and advocate for the continued witness to our Lord in the world, particularly within our community.
