Pastor’s Letter

Dear Friends,

It is a great joy to welcome you to St. Anthony Catholic Church.  This wonderful parish has radiated the light of Christ in Bartonville and beyond since 1969.  Our dedicated staff, volunteers, and parishioners all contribute in their own unique way to the vibrancy of this community of believers. Indeed, our parish home is much more than just a collection of a few buildings.

Everyone reading this message is invited to explore the possibility of becoming a member here. The faith journey was never designed to be an isolated experience.  As the Apostle Paul reminds us, we are instead called to membership in the “Body of Christ,” His Church.  Worshipping God with a community, and serving our brothers and sisters in the Lord, sustains the faith we profess and contributes to the building up of God’s kingdom here on earth.  Again turning to St. Paul, we are invited to be “co-workers” with Christ, responding in love to Him who has loved us first.

Please feel free to examine our parish website.  There are plenty of groups and ministries tailored to a variety of needs and interests. One would be hard-pressed not to find something that appeals to his/her respective interest.  You are also encouraged to join us for any of our scheduled Masses and to visit with those who already make St. Anthony’s such a remarkable place.
